Data Policy
Active Inland Empire is a community-first nonprofit. This page explains what data we collect at events and on this website, and how we use it to plan and fund future community programs.
What we collect
Website analytics: ContentSquare session analytics (only with your consent) and Vercel's cookieless page statistics. Event data: registrations and attendance through SweatPals. Forms: what you submit in inquiry forms (name, email, message). Newsletter: your email address through Substack.
Why we collect it
Attendance and engagement numbers show us which programs matter to the community. We use aggregated analytics in grant applications and sponsorship pitches — real participation data is how we fund the next event. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Aggregated statistics are kept indefinitely. Session-level analytics follow ContentSquare's 13-month retention. Inquiry emails are kept up to 24 months after our last exchange. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time via “Manage cookies” in the footer, and unsubscribe from the newsletter with one click. EU/EEA visitors have these rights under the GDPR; California residents under the CCPA.
Cookies we use
aie-consent — remembers your analytics choice (1 year). NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your language. ContentSquare analytics cookies — set only after you accept.
